In Energy throughput framework, instead of DoD, the total amount of deliverable energy of BES is considered. This parameter is independent of the depth of charge and discharge.
To evaluate the impact of energy throughput, the delivered power is limited to 48,000 MWh. Comparing the results of Fig. 5, Fig. 6 shows that the traded powers in the regulation and energy market are reduced by decreasing the delivered energy, which is expectable.
