JE aims to solar power 5000 Jersey homes by 2030
Powering 5000 homes is the equivalent of generating 36MWp of electricity from various solar voltaic sources – enough to power around 10% of housing in Jersey. I have 4 power queen 300ah batteries and I intend on being off grid 99% of the time. I am charging with 6 195watt, 1170watts total, of eco worthy bifacial panels. My power needs are occasional use of 20amp 120v power and daily use of 12v/24v appliances. I want to have little to none idle power consumption off of my inverter.
